OUR POTTERY
Nothing adds to the beauty of your indoor houseplants or your outdoor container garden like beautiful and functional ceramic, fiberglass, or cast iron pots. And no nursery has a larger or more budget-friendly selection of pottery than Cravens Nursery. We have in stock over $800,000 worth of quality pots to fit your every need, from self-watering African violet pots, to bonsai pots, to ceramic, fiberglass, and cast iron urns in styles from talavera to Asian to traditional. Looking for a particular color? Look no further, as Cravens carries pots in every color of the rainbow—and then some! Looking for an unusual shape? Cravens can accommodate you. We have two greenhouses full of an exciting array of pots, and our selection just keeps growing—we’ve spilled outside the greenhouses, and are even planning new buildings to hold our expanding collection. Come by and plan to spend some enjoyable time browsing, or consult with one of our experienced salespeople who can help you select the right pot for your needs.
Old Mexico hand-painted. We have planters, wall planters, Sunbursts, animal figurines, and animal planters including frogs, iguanas and lizards. Talavera is a majolica earthenware glazed ceramic made since the 16th century, and originated in Tacavora de la Reina, Spain. Our pottery comes direct from Puebla Mexico by the truck-load at a bargain price for you.
Fiberglass is a great lightweight alternative to cast iron urns and planters for outside use. Classical designs make for durable use. We bought out an entire inventory for a bargain which we are happy to pass on to our customers.
Our plastic is good for indoor and outdoor, ranging from modern styled decorations with a feel of the 70’s, to classical molded plastic planters taken from concrete antiques. We also have window boxes in earthen colors and hanging baskets.

A necessity for a person that travels, just fill with water and let your plant drink as it needs! Our self-watering pots are especially great for African Violets and all Gesneriads.

Just too pretty to put dirt in! The oriental fish bowl makes a great decoration by itself, though Aralias and Palms look like royalty enthroned when in these pots. For your convenience, our oriental fish bowls have no drainage, so no saucer is required.

The Strawberry Jar's name is an anomaly, most use these planters for herbs or sedum, rather then the berries they were named for. Creeping thyme is doing great in one of my personal Mexican Strawberry jars, the other has been full of hens and chicks sedum for the last 15-20 years.

Cast Iron Urns are planters to be passed down for generations. Each and every one is a future antique, and all are copied from models used in previous decades. These classical planters are truly endowed with the grace of time.
